A session ale packed with all the tropical hop flavor without the bitterness.
This beer was brewed with a large percentage of oats and wheat which contribute to it's soft and smooth mouth feel. Citra and Amarillo hops shine through with notes of passionfruit, green mango, overripe papaya and honeydew melon. Keep your taste buds happy and your senses sharp with this all day crusher.
4.7% ABV Golden Ale
Light and refreshing with a balance of light malt flavor and herbal hops, resulting in a clean crisp finish.
Wit Or Wit-Out You
5.4% ABV Belgian Style Witbier
Refreshingly dry with hints of citrus and a slightly tart velvety finish.
South Pacific Hop IPA
6.5% ABV South Pacific Hop Haze
An unfiltered New England style IPA brewed with wheat and oats.
Hopped in the kettle and dry hopped entirely with Australian Galaxy and New Zealand Motueka. These southern hemisphere grown hops impart a distinctive cool- climate, white wine character with notes of passionfruit and citrus. This beer is fruity, citrusy, and highly aromatic.
Crimson Ale 5.4% ABV
Pleasing hoppiness and smooth - very drinkable. A touch of dark malts gives it its ruddy redness and a slight dark Chocolate note.
Four Grain Saison
Farmhouse Ale 4.5% ABVe
Brewed with Barley, Wheat, Oats and Rye, then fermented with an expressive blend of French and American yeasts
which contribute a light fruit and spice character. Lightly dry hopped with Loral and Styrian Goldings for an extra floral note.
KEN CALDWELL IS TUN TAVERN'S NEW BREWER
The Management Team at Tun Tavern Restaurant & Brewery proudly welcomes our new Brewmaster, Ken Caldwell.Ken recently relocated to Brigantine after a two year position as Head Brewer of Honolulu Beer Works In Hawaii.
Ken received his brewing education at Siebel Institute in 2017. He brings a love of brewing with locally sourced ingredients, and favors stouts and porters. With the summer months upon us he is looking forward to trying new IPA's and sours.
Ken is enthusiastic about the upward trend in popularity of hand crafted beers. He feels that the locally sourced, farm-to-pint movement will continue to grow.
Ken will introduce a lot of exciting new brews to the patrons of Tun Tavern. One of his favorites: a Brut IPA - light bodied, super dry, and aromatic. "I'm also excited to see more sour IPA's on the rise. I find that with most trends everything is cyclical, and we'll be seeing a reemergence of West Coast style IPA's and a few other traditional styles. My experience brewing and living in Hawaii was amazing and it will always be an exclusive part of who I am."
"I'm very excited to have the opportunity to brew for Tun Tavern and create some distinctive brews for local and visiting beer lovers. Initially, I want to challenge myself to come up with a line of core styles that will define Tun Tavern/Atlantic City Brewing Company and represent AC and its surrounding beaches. I also would love to get a few beers on nitro in the brewpub as well as start a firkin and barrel program. Coming from Honolulu Beerworks, we had the largest barrel program in Oahu, I had a blast putting different styles in various barrels and would love to bring what I've learned in Hawaii to Tun Tavern. Hopefully, I can utilize some Jersey grown hops and malts in the near future."
