About Our Chef

Tun Tavern has recently promoted Rocky Pellerito to the position of Executive Chef.

Rocky has been Tun Tavern's Executive Sous Chef for the last year, and brings much talent and experience to the table. Before joining the Tun Tavern Team, Chef Rocky opened Polistina's - the Italian restaurant at Harrah's.

Chef Rocky has a love for Italian Cuisine, but has also has experience in Asian Fusion and Eclectic American styles of cooking. Some of Chef Rocky's favorite dishes include: Seared Shrimp and Scallops Puttanesca, Seared Ahi Tuna with Ginger Puree and Coriander Crust, and Homemade Pappardelle Pasta with Spicy Italian Sausage, Brocolli Rabe and Cannelini Beans.

Chef Rocky's personal style and committment to fine food promises to satisfy the clientele of Tun Tavern Restaurant.
